This 2013 report’s purpose is to propose standards and make recommendations to promote quality assurance in all aspects of breast cancer screening with mammography in Canada.
This edition of the report aims to cover important elements of breast cancer screening, like its financial and human costs. As a result, there’s a need to create strategies which are efficient for identifying and monitoring individuals who are at a higher risk of breast cancer. Those individuals include women with dense breast, familial history and exposure to repeated radiation due to treatment.

- The methods used for the literature review and updating the recommendations
- The current state of knowledge
