About this section

This section describes how provinces and territories correspond with individuals who have been screened by the program in the past and notify them that they are eligible to return to screening.

Individuals who have a normal screening result are invited back at regular intervals, as per provincial/territorial screening guidelines, for subsequent screening. Individuals who have an abnormal Pap test are invited for follow-up.
